UK Sport partners with Elite Sports Expo
27-Sep-2018
Quartz Sequoia Events, organisers of Elevate, have announced a new partnership with UK Sport following the acquisition of Elite Sports Expo earlier this year.
UK Sport supports athletes and sports to compete and win medals at the Olympic and Paralympic Games through strategic investment and thought leadership. As part of the new partnership, UK Sport will become a Lead Supporter at Elite Sports Expo 2019, which takes place on May 8-9 at ExCeL in London. In addition, the Elevate team will provide event management support for UK Sport’s own portfolio of events, which bring together the leaders of sport within the UK.
Debbie Jenssen, Deputy Director of People Development at UK Sport comments: “Partnering with the organisers of Elite Sports Expo means we can deliver the best experience possible for the individuals working across the high-performance system who will be attending our performance learning event. This is important for us because it means our participants can spend more time learning and collaborating - which is what this event is all about. It also means that we can focus on delivering a world-leading performance learning agenda. This partnership provides us the opportunity to extend our participants’ learning journey at the Elite Sports Expo event in May 2019.”
UK Sport will sit alongside ISEH, English Institute of Sport, Scottish Institute of Sport and UKSCA, in their support for creating a world-class free-to-attend exhibition for human performance within the UK.
Max Quittenton, Director at Quartz Sequoia Events, says: “We are delighted to work in partnership with UK Sport. Their support and input will help us provide thousands of performance professionals - across all sports - with direct access to the latest products, innovation and knowledge. Thanks to unrivalled support Elite Sports Expo is the UK’s largest (and only) free-to-attend elite sport business to business event.” Elite Sports Expo, Elevate and COPA take place at London ExCeL between May 8-9th 2019. The event attracts over 10,000 sport and physical activity professionals, 300 expert speakers and over 350 leading exhibitors including STATSports, TRX, Rocktape, Matrix, DJO, Eleiko, Keiser, Wattbike, Loughborough University, Beet It, Origin Fitness, Woodway, Jordan Fitness and many more.
